As part of our commitment to supporting the National Development Plan (NDP) Vision 2030 and contributing to efforts aimed at reducing youth unemployment, DSAC is creating a talent database of higher education youth graduates interested in building a career in the fields of:

  • Sport and Recreation Management
  • Arts, Culture and Heritage preservation and promotion
  • Library and Information Sciences
  • Archives and Records Management
  • Cultural History, Anthropology or Archaeology
  • Creative Industries (digital arts, design, performing arts, etc.)
  • Communication, Public Relations and Marketing
  • Events Management and Logistics
  • Administration and related support services
  • Any other career field relevant to the Department’s mandate.

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture invites young people of South Africa to register your

profile on our e-recruitment database. This database would be used for consideration for future

contract placement opportunities within the department.

WHO MAY SUBMIT?

Youth who are:

• Aged 18–35 years

• In possession of a relevant qualification (National Diploma, Degree, or postgraduate

qualification)

• Not participating in any government-funded learnership, internship, or similar programme at the time of the application

• 1-2 years’ workplace experience would be an added benefit.

• Passionate about contributing to South Africa’s development in the Sport, Arts, Culture and Heritage sectors
