The national Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Minister Gayton McKenzie will on Friday, 06 December 2024 host the United States of America (USA) delegation led by Andre Dickens, Mayor of the City of Atlanta for the Atlanta-Phambili: RSA-USA Trade and Investment Roadshow. The event will take place at the Freedom Park Museum in Pretoria.
This Roadshow session will not only strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries, but also primarily explore potential business collaborations in the Cultural and Creative Industry, as well as in Sports. The RSA-USA Trade and Investment Roadshow seeks to position South Africa as an attractive destination for US investment.
South Africa’s delegation comprised of key government departments, public entities and private sector who have participated in the Atlanta Phambili Trade and Investment Roadshow, which took place from 25 – 28 March 2024. Following this participation, the US delegation is in South Africa for the return leg of the Roadshow. Few key role players within film, fashion, music sports, and gastronomy industries will also grace the occasion.
