Statement on the Passing of Tefo Frekkie Ramohlabi

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), Minister Gayton McKenzie has noted with profound sadness the passing of Mr Tefo Frekkie Ramohlabi.

Mr Ramohlabi was a driver deployed during the Summer National School Sport Championship Games currently taking place in Kempton Park, Gauteng. His passing is a deep loss to the championship family and the broader school sport community at large.

The Department extends heartfelt condolences to the Ramohlabi family, friends, colleagues and all those affected by this loss. May his loved ones find solace in the knowledge that his remarkable life and contribution to school sport development will leave a lasting mark and will continue to be remembered.

May his soul rest in peace.
