
The Department has supported 12 Authors to represent South Africa at the Moscow International Book Fair also called 27th the International Book Fair for high-quality fiction and nonfiction to take place on 4-7 December in Moscow, Russia. The authors are travelling this evening to arrive in Russia tomorrow on 3 December 2025. The list names and short Bios of the authors is attached.
Oliewenhuis Art Museum is pleased to announce the opening of Beyond Walls: Emerging Contemporary Voices, curated from the ArtbankSA Collection, on Thursday, 4 December 2025.
Unlike traditional museum collections confined to institutional walls, ArtbankSA operates as a dynamic platform that circulates emerging artists' work through leasing and sales to collectors and the general public. This exhibition captures the essence of this fluid model, presenting works that exist in active dialogue with diverse spaces and communities.
